We offer a full NHS travel service at Wellington Way Heath Centre.  Below are all of the details you need to know about our travel health services and how to access them.

Our clinics:

  • We offer travel clinic once a month, this clinics are in the morning and appointments are available up to 4 weeks in advance
  • To ensure you are fully protected before you travel we ask you to book your appointment as early as you can in advance of your travels – this must be at least 6 weeks before you travel. If we are unable to book you an appointment within this timeframe you will be directed to a travel clinic (local pharmacies /private travel clinics)
  • Please note our clinics get booked very quickly so we advise to contact the practice well in advance before your travel.

Booking appointment:

  • To book an appointment please kindly complete an online request via this link Contact us about your request - Accurx Patient Portal
  • If we are fully booked we will advise patients to access private travel services.
  • Please do NOT book an appointment with a GP to discuss travel as they are unable to provide travel health services. This will delay your treatment.

Vaccinations:

Important Points:

  • If you would like to access your vaccination history on your medical record, you can check these on the immunisation section of the NHS app. Please note if you received any vaccinations through private travel services, this will not be available on the NHS app and you will need to contact the services directly.
  • Before your appointment please have a look at the information provided by the NHS UK Health Security Agency (NHS UKHSA) about your specific travel destination: Home - Fit for Travel

Travel Health Questionnaire:

To help us offer the best possible advice, you will be asked to complete a health risk assessment form before your appointment. This will ensure a smooth process without causing any delays.
